Curling Championships Identity

Challenge

The Vancouver Curling Club was hosting the Sleeman 2025 Lower Mainland Curling Club Championships — a big, sponsored event that needed a strong, recognizable identity. They wanted a logo and winners’ banner that captured the excitement of competitive curling, highlighted the Sleeman partnership, and celebrated Vancouver’s local character.

Solution

I created a bold, energetic logo built around a curling stone in motion, using clean lines and strong type to reflect the sport’s speed and precision. To ground it in the West Coast, I wove in subtle mountain and evergreen elements. The Sleeman branding was integrated naturally, giving it equal weight in the design. From there, I carried the same visual language into the winners’ banner, keeping the overall look cohesive, professional, and full of energy.
